Welcome! Let me share my story and passions.

I founded Flywheel Advisory with the mission to help individuals and organizations achieve their fullest potential.  Through my own journey of discovery and exploration, I’ve uncovered a strong passion for connecting with people through ideas, insights, and new possibilities. I’m inspired by others and their stories. I believe that together, we can attain levels of success never thought possible.

Prior to Flywheel Advisory, I spent 12 years at Walmart Stores, Inc in a variety of positions across Finance, Customer Insights, US Strategy, and Human Resources.  I played an active role in developing and implementing strategic and transformational plans from start to finish.  Working directly with Executive Leadership, Program Managers, and top Management Consulting Partners, I have first-hand experience running strategy development, organizational change management, and program execution across large-scale business functions.  Through my time in Human Resources, I gained experience leading organizational design and implementing organization structure updates within the Merchandising Operations function of 1,500+ associates.

While on the US Strategy team, I was fortunate to have experienced a full-scale transformation program kicked-off by new US CEO Greg Foran, and was on the team for the complete 5-year strategic planning cycle. Here are some notable experiences:

  • Created Board of Director presentations for the US CEO and Leadership Team, working one-on-one with Senior Leadership spanning Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Supply Chain.

  • Key player in standing up a Program Management Office to provide oversight for the 16+ large scale projects supporting the updated strategic priorities.

  • Created and oversaw the transformation management plan for Merchandising special projects, working directly with change management experts and allocating their time and resources across projects.

  • Worked one-on-one with numerous Senior Leaders to define change management plans for their teams and projects.

  • Defined and led a series of Leadership Team Alignment Sessions with the US CFO and Finance Leadership Team to decide and agree on a set of new priorities to support Finance’s role in supporting changes being implemented in the organization.

I became interested in Coaching during my time at Walmart Stores. Throughout strategic, program, and project lifecycles I witnessed the tactics that produced the best results. Not simply business results, but personal growth within the leaders and teams. I saw this personal growth and elevated thinking as the driving force behind the optimal outcomes. From this experience, I decided to pursue a deeper education in Coaching to combine with my existing knowledge base.

I believe this powerful combination of Coaching with strategy development and execution can deliver transformational results.

Focus on root causes

Focusing on symptoms can generate adequate results. Attaining full potential requires identifying and overcoming root causes. I will challenge and gently guide in this direction.

Critical knowledge and insights are out there for the taking. Whether out in the world, or inside yourself, answers exist that help deliver on your aspirations. I foster an environment of continual discovery and learning.
